You must rebuild your company file to fix data damage if verifying data fails, and the following message appears in the QBWin.log:

Step 1: Rebuild your company file
- From the File menu, select Utilities then choose Rebuild Data.
- Click OK if you receive a message to back up your company file.
- Your computer may display the message QuickBooks is not responding. However, as long as you can move your cursor, QuickBooks is trying to rebuild your company data; wait for the process to complete.
- Click OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
Step 2: Verify the file again to resolve the issue
- From the File menu, select Utilities then choose Verify Data.
- Click OK when you see the message QuickBooks detected no problem with your data. You may continue using your company file.
